Park at Corran and cross the free ferry to the quiet and well surfaced quiet roads of Morven. Up Glen Tarbet and turn off before Strontian on the Lochaline road climbing the 10km Liddesdale hill at 12%. Turn left onto the road to Kingairloch and swoop down. It's worth a stop at Camusnacroise to look at the famous wee church and enjoy the azure water of an idyllic place. Just before here is "The Boathouse Resteraunt" if you need tea and a bun. The next section follows a narrow sigle track with cliffs on one side and sea on the other. Spectacular views North. Only the post van comes along here most days and grass grows from the tar. Watch out for the wild goats on the road. Back along to the main road and back to the Ferry. 44 miles and 3,000ft + of ascent

The Bealach is great, but looking at pics of Hardknot it looks easy in comparison!
